Welcome 2011!

Last night Boston celebrated First Night in balmy weather.

Notice the melting "2" on this last evening of 2010.

These ice sculptures were set around Boston Common, which is so lovely with snow and setting sun.

It was a wonderful New Year's Eve. Today the sun is shining brightly on my tabletop for the New Year in Boston. Let's see if you can spot any of the historic sites above in my New Year's Day tribute to our fair city. Falfax manufactured this "Boston Scene" tablecloth.

Happy New Year from Boston!

I have never been to Boston but would love to see it! Sooo many historical sites there and I spotted several of those in your awesome tablecloth! The tablecloth in itself would make for great dinner conversation...love that! I loved your pretty green and brown place settings...such pretty colors to pair together! 13. My daughter and son-in-law live in Melrose, MA and work in Boston. We went ice skating on Christmas Eve day at the "Frog Pond"-such fun! It will now become a Christmas Tradition. I didn't realize how well I have come to know Boston until I recognized most of the spots in your pictures. Love them!!
