Lesson One for 2011: If you live in a cold climate, learn to embrace it! This edition of Tabletop Time celebrates fun in the snow. I'm happy to be sharing these warm snowmen for Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps on the Porch.
These Fiesta snowman gusto bowls and mugs were produced for the Tamarack Center in West Virginia. The placesettings also include plaid Crate and Barrel napkins, super scarlet glitter snowflakes that I received at work in the Secret Snowflake gift exchange, HLCCA polka dot plates, Fiesta luncheon plates in sunny tangerine and square dinnerplates in chocolate and Fiesta scarlet flatware. The centerpiece features a Betty Crocker snowflake plate, a tripod bowl candle holder and tangerine pyramid candle holders. The snow baby salt and pepper shakers were a gift from a friend. I hope these smiling faces and warm tones on the tabletop brightened your winter day!

I just love your tablesetting. Orange is my favorite color, but I would never have thought to pair it with the red polka dots. Just great!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments, everyone! It's great to have you at the table. The tablecloth is a vintage cloth, probably from the late 70's or early 80's. I purchased it at a textile show in Sturbridge, MA. I hope everyone is keeping warm this week. We have snow in the forecast, so it may be time to get out the snowflake dishes!
ReplyDeleteWhat a happy table. My grandchildren would just love that.
