When my dishes aren't on the table, they are the perfect backdrop for treasured vintage Christmas decorations. Here's a peek at my Hoosier-style cabinet.
I've been travelling today, and now I'm in the place where my tablescaping endeavors got their start. Stay tuned for some dispatches from the source!
I enjoy collecting dishes made by the Homer Laughlin China Company, especially the Art Deco Fiesta, Harlequin and Riviera dinnerware lines. I'm always on the hunt for vintage tablecloths and other accessories to compliment my collection.
The background on my blog is gray to match my dining room walls. This lovely neutral shade showcases the colorware on my table. The other colors used on my blog reflect some of my very favorite pottery glazes: chartreuse, Harlequin yellow and scarlet.
If you like my tabletop or have questions, please leave a comment and I'll reply to you.
Go ahead...ask me about my deco dishes!
