Mardi Gras 2010

Here's a little Mardi Gras fun from last year to kick off the purple, green and gold Tabletop Time. This post originally appeared on February 20, 2010. I'm sharing it for Sunday Favorites at Happy to Design.

Sometimes the party is so fun that there's no time to stop and blog about it! Here's a little Mardi Gras left over for your viewing pleasure.

This festive table features vintage and reissue Harlequin dinnerware, Post-86 Fiesta candle holders, vintage champagne saucers, Oneida Deauville flatware, modern napkins and organza tablecloth, and souvenir napkin rings and mask from New Orleans.

  4. Hi Daphne...

Oooh...I love, love, LOVE this table, my friend! Mardi Gras is such a fun theme to do a table with and the colors are gorgeous! Of course, your beautiful mardi gras mask is just perfect for the table centerpiece...I love that! I also love how you used the pretty silver fleur de lis napkin rings around the candleholders! And...then there is that gorgeous purple organza tablecloth...ohhh sooo pretty! Fabulous table, Daphne! Thank you so much for sharing it with us for the Sunday Favorites repost party this week!

Have a wonderful week, my friend!

  5. So light and airy Daphne! Love the effect of the pattern on your table peeking through the cloth. The whole setting is a perfect way to celebrate the day.
