Wearing O' The Green 2011

Last year I enjoyed using this vintage gryphon and green tablecloth in a fancy setting with Waterford crystal and hammered aluminum pieces.

You can visit Wearing O' The Green 2010 to see the my first tabletop run with this cloth.

For St. Patrick's Day 2011, I'm exploring a more casual tablesetting using a Hazel Atlas Ovide breakfast set from the 1950's.

The sugar and creamer have a Greco-Roman feel to them, don't they?

I really like how the warm golds and greens of this Bakelite flatware bring out the cool colors in the vintage glass dinnerware. Contemporary napkins and glassware complete the breakfast setting. I think we have another nice option for this tablecloth! Which tablescape to you prefer?

I'm sharing this table for Seasonal Sunday at The Tablescaper.

  4. You are too funny with the greco-roman idea, but yes, I do see it! :) Both tables are pretty-it is amazing how different of a look you can get with one cloth and a few different dishes! Happy day! Linda

  5. Oh my both tables are so fabulous! I think I like the other one a bit better because of the hammered aluminum pieces. Of course I would join you at either table for sure! Enjoyed my first visit to your blog.
