This weekend's cooler weather persuaded me to let a bit more Fall onto the tabletop in the form of a Vera Mums tablecloth. This is a new Vera pattern by Bardwil that you can find at many home decor retailers for this season.
This cloth coordinates very well with Homer Laughlin's newest Fiesta dinnerware color, paprika. Here's the color on the individual pasta bowl.
And doesn't paprika look great with lemongrass and heather? This trio of newer colors also blends well with persimmon, one of the older Post-86 colors.
The white Millennium One vase accentuates the copper mums as a centerpiece for the bold tablecloth.
An ivory medium platter plays the same role for a paprika jam jar. The jam jar is a new piece for the Post-86 lineup. The jar was developed for Harry & David. I'm glad that HLC decided to put it into production even though H&D did not move forward with their plans for this clever pottery holder.
Mini-pitchers on a relish tray are ready to serve syrups.
Amber colored Mexican glass from Pier One adds some sparkle to the placesettings. Oneida Cityscape flatware, Pier One green napkins and Crate & Barrel napkin rings complete the table.
I hope you enjoyed these first mums of Fall on the tabletop!
I'm sharing this tablescape for Seasonal Sunday at The Tablescaper and for Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps on the Porch.

ReplyDeleteThat is a gorgeous table...I love the tablecloth with the splashes of orange and eggplant on the lime background. Those little pitchers are adorable. This color combination is great for fall...for some reason I never think to add purples with fall colors and they go so well. Thanks for sharing!
