Mardi Gras

Sometimes the party is so fun that there's no time to stop and blog about it! Here's a little Mardi Gras left over for your viewing pleasure.

This festive table features vintage and reissue Harlequin dinnerware, Post-86 Fiesta candle holders, vintage champagne saucers, Oneida Deauville flatware, modern napkins and organza tablecloth, and souvenir napkin rings and mask from New Orleans.

Sometimes it feels kinda lonely out here. If you're watching my tabletop, please take the time to leave a comment! Yes, you do have to create a log-in, and yes, it can take 3 tries to actually post, but I surely would appreciate knowing if you're looking at my table! Merci beaucoup!

  1. Your table is wonderful. I lived in New Orleans for years and I do miss all the fun of Mardi Gras! Love the mask!!

  2. Daphne, I love your table! We could set a very similar one here. I've got an organza tablecloth like that (came in a set of three, each a different colour), those fleur de lis napkin rings, the Deauville, and of course, the Harlequin. Hope you had a happy Mardi Gras.

  3. Hello Linda and Becky!

Linda, I'm glad my table brought back happy memories for you. New Orleans is a wonderful city.

Becky, with the mix of Harlequin and Louisana's favorite holiday, you were definitely on my mind as I set that table! Next year let's see if we can get a series of Mardi Gras tables going!

Thanks so much for your comments!
