Bunny's Eastertime Band

I found a pair of vintage postcards last weekend that inspired this tabletop concert by the Bunny's Eastertime Band. As soon as I found this card, I knew I wanted a whimsical Easter table featuring bunnies in action.

A few more flips through the vintage card album, and this card helped me chose the tablecloth for the bunny frolic.

The bleeding hearts in my garden are just baby shoots of green this week, but this fabulous Simtex vintage tablecloth with ferns, clematis and bleeding hearts from my friend Elaine is ready to host the rabbits.

How about a bunny rendition of "Easter Parade" for your dining pleasure? The tulips are dancing to the beat.

Yes, the placesettings also feature musical bunnies.

This tabletop features Fiesta dinnerware, Libbey stripe glassware, Williams Sonoma egg-shaped bunny ramekins, vintage cocktail napkins, wooden bunnies from the dollar store many years ago, and a ceramic jardiniere that we received as a wedding gift. The hard to find flatware is by Cambridge and is variously called "Dot Gingham" or Duplex "Happy." It was a gift from the Flatware Fairy!

After dinner the rabbits continued their party on our mantle.

I wonder what other Easter surprises this week will bring? I'm sharing these Easter festivities for Tabletop Tuesday at A Stroll Through Life.
