My Favorite Valentine Vases

For The Colors of Love, my first tabletop featured vintage Valentine vases. While I really like these little vessels, my favorite Valentine vases are the ones that my husband brought me when we were dating: Fiesta Millennium One vases from Bloomingdale's. Here's the turquoise vase in action for my final Valentine tabletop of 2011.

The placesttings are a mixture of post86 Fiesta dinnerware, vintage Harlequin plates and contemporary heart bowls from CVS.

The rest of the goods~
Crate and Barrel Caprice martini glasses
Crate and Barrel Beehive cocktail shaker
vintage striped juice glasses
Fiesta flatware, disc pitcher and shakers
Harlequin novelty creamer
Bakelite napkin ring
vintage cocktail napkins
vintage style Valentine cards

Happy Valentine's Day!

I'm sharing this table for The Colors of Love at The Little Round Table, Seasonal Sunday at The Tablescaper , Tabletop Tuesday at A Stroll Through Life, and Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps on the Porch.

  1. I really love this table! So bright, vibrant and cheery! I so love the colors too.....it's not the "usual" red and/or pink. It's so much fun that I can hardly decide what part I love best, although I have a weakness for vintage colorful tablecloths. The vintage Valentines remind me of the ones we used to trade as kids! Cute!

  4. Red and turquoise are one of my favorite color combinations. The way you punched it up with yellow is even better.

  18. I love the colors and your blog gives me a lot of great ideas as we also own fiestaware that I love to entertain with simply because of the 'festive' look it always give to the table. I never thought of vintage tablecloths until I discovered your site but now I'm slowly pulling together a collection to use with the dishes. Love it, love it, love it!
