Here Comes Peter Cottontail...

...biking across my tabletop.

And he's got a basket full of goodies.

I think he's right at home in this field of sweet peas.

He's found post86 Fiesta dinnerware in heather, rose and periwinkle topped by a glass Crate & Barrel bunny at each place. The bunnies are filled with jelly beans! And they look great with Pier One Mexican glass in green.

My great-grandparents' Gorham Buttercup sterling from 1907 rests on contemporary napkins and continues the floral theme for each diner.

Thanks for visiting my tabletop, Mr. Rabbit!

Happy Easter!

In honor of Peter's visit, I'm joining Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps On The Porch for the first time. Do take a look at all the beautiful tables gathered there.

  2. What an adorable bunny! His little, and fluffy ivy jacket makes me giggle. Doesn't he think he's cute?

Your table is beautifully set. I am wild about silver, and wilder about monogrammed silver, and wildest about silver handed down to us! You hit the trifecta of silver collecting. My last post was all about collecting and living everyday with silver. Yours is stunning!!!!
I have been looking for those little bunny covered dishes. Thanks for the direction.
Great table- so many lovely things!

  4. First - Welcome to Tablescape Thursday! What a delightful table you've set for us. I love green, so this setting suits me to a tea! or is that tee? or maybe just T -- anyway, you know what I mean.....Love the sweet ivy covered bunny in the middle -- was he "directing" you in your setting of the table? Love the little glass bunnies -- wish I was a bit closer to a Crate and Barrell (but my pocketbook is glad I'm not) -- hope you'll be inviting us back to your table soon!

  6. SO cute with the biking bunny! I love that tablecloth -- perfect for your theme, with the "chicken wire" print, and it sets off the dishes wonderfully well. How special to have your GREAT grandparents' Buttercup! That's one of my favorite silver patterns.

  10. The shades of Fiesta that you chose are beautiful. They look great together and fabulous on that tablecloth.
