The turkeys have landed just in time for Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps on the Porch.
In the kitchen~
On the mantle~
In the dining room~
And on the tabletop!
Shall we take advantage of all the November sunshine that pours inside now that the leaves are down?
Now we'll turn the flash back on so you can see some of the great details on these pieces.
I do love acorns!
This tabletop for giving thanks includes Fiesta dinnerware plates, tumblers and a disk pitcher with the HLCCA exclusive Retro Red Stripe treatment, a prep bowl in chocolate and a divided serving bown in scarlet. Villeroy and Boch Boston glassware, vintage Bakelite flatware, chocolate napkins, turkey plates from the Christmas Tree Shop, a contemporary covered casserole and acorn salt & pepper shakers complete the tablescape.
Thanksgiving at my house is always an evolving affair with the final numbers changing right up until I set the table. Watch this space for a second acorn and turkey table in a totally different colorway...I have to keep a 'scape waiting in the wings for this holiday!
Hello! I'm visiting from Between Naps on the Porch. I love the colors of your table! The turkey plates are adorable. Happy Thursday! : )

ReplyDeleteWhat a collection you have! I've never seen plates shaped like turkeys as you've used for salad plates. That tablecloth is marvelous -- perfect for fall!

PS Am saving some of the "verification" words .... they are just too comical not to bring into use. My last one was "jualmuga"
"Would you like a glass of jualmuga with your turkey dinner?"
This could go on and on.....
ReplyDeleteTHE PERFECT word for me with my Pepsi addiction -
"epepsi"
I think it must some kind of new virtual colorie free Pepsi ???
I'm done, unless the next one is equally amusing.

It's a Turkeypalooza, for sure! So many wonderful turkeys. I particularly like the red and white table with the red turkey accent plates. Thank you for sharing your charming designs. Cherry Kay
ReplyDeleteI love all your dishes. I thought of this post when I found a Scarlet teapot at the Macy's here in El Paso. They never have any accessories like this here. I really enjoy your blog.
